The English have always loved their mustard, from the sharp smooth yellow mustard that always goes on their classic roast beef, to the hearty grained mustards that go so well with cheese and English meat pies.
Shakespeare loved mustard and wrote of it often in his plays. For example, "What say you to a piece of beef and mustard?" is one of the most memorable lines (we thinki so!) from Taming of the Shrew.
